As was previously stated, the PCU has only two faculties. These include the Faculty of Social Management Sciences and the Faculty of Pure and Applied Sciences. Thus, there are only two different categories of the school fee. The breakdown of the tuition costs for each faculty at the university is provided below.
FACULTY OF PURE AND APPLIED SCIENCES
In the faculty of pure and applied sciences, students are to pay the sum of 440,000 naira in total for their tuition.
This is the breakdown goes thus:
- The actual cost of tuition is 270,000 naira.
- The cost of lodging (accommodation) is 35,000 Naira.
- Fee for enrolling courses: 5,000 Naira
- Cost of the exam: 5,000 Naira
- 15,000 Naira is the ICT fee.
- 10,000 Naira for a doctor\’s visit.
- Cost of the lab: 15 000 naira
- 5,000 Naira for a library permit.
- Levy for Sports = 5,000 Naira
- 5,000 Naira for ID card
- 5,000 Naira for results verification
- 10,000 naira for the developmental levy.
- SRC equals 5,000 naira
FACULTY OF SOCIAL AND MANAGEMENT SCIENCES
In the faculty of pure and applied sciences, students are to pay the sum of 415,000 naira in total for their tuition.
This is the breakdown goes thus:
- 250,000 naira is the actual cost of tuition.
- Accommodation fee: 35,000 naira.
- The examination fee is 5,000 naira.
- 15,000 naira for ICT fee
- The course registration fee is 5,000 naira.
- The medical fee is 10,000 naira.
- The cost of the laboratory is 10,000 naira.
- Library permit = 5,000 naira
- 5,000 Naira for Sports Levy
- Verification of results = 5,000 naira
- 10,000 naira development levy
- 5,000 naira = SRC
- 5,000 naira for I.D. card
THE 2021/2022 TUITION WAIVER
In the 2021/2022 session, PCU offered a 50% tuition waiver on some courses. This might be employed also this upcoming session. This is to reduce the heaviness of the number of fees to be paid by students.

ELIGIBILITY FOR SCHOOL FEE WAIVER
Only those students seeking admission to the 100 level can receive the 50% tuition cost waiver. These candidates needed a minimum UTME score of 120. The O\’ level result(s) for such candidates must also have 5 credits, including English and mathematics, in no more than two sittings.
