Sam Elias Foundation Hosts Successful ParaSoccer Event at Dan Anyiam Stadium

The Dan Anyiam Stadium was alive with excitement as the Sam Elias Foundation hosted a thrilling ParaSoccer event, showcasing the incredible talent and determination of athletes with disabilities. The highlight of the event was a fiercely contested football match between Team Julob and Team Lablaise, with Team Lablaise emerging triumphant with a score of 2 goals to 1.

The event drew a distinguished crowd of influential figures, including representatives from the Imo State Sports Commission, who graciously sent a representative to show their support for inclusive sports. Also in attendance was the esteemed Bishop Stafford Nwogu, alongside Chizzy Wizzy, CEO of De Gambo Lounge, and various influencers who lent their voices to the cause.

In recognition of their exceptional performance, Team Lablaise was awarded a prize of N100,000 by the Sam Elias Foundation, while Team Julob received N50,000 in support of their efforts. Architect Charles, a staunch advocate for inclusivity, further demonstrated his commitment by awarding N25,000 to each team. Julob Entertainment Limited also showed their solidarity by contributing N20,000 to Team Julob.

The success of the ParaSoccer event would not have been possible without the unwavering dedication of the foundation’s founder, whose passion for bringing joy to individuals with disabilities is truly inspiring. On this special day, which coincided with his birthday, the founder’s commitment to making a difference in the lives of special people in society shone brightly, leaving a lasting impression on all who attended.

The Sam Elias Foundation extends heartfelt appreciation to everyone who supported and attended the event, affirming the importance of unity and compassion in building a more inclusive society. Together, we continue to champion the rights and abilities of individuals with disabilities, one smile at a time.
