Rear Admiral Emmanuel Ikechukwu Ogalla was born on December 20, 1968, in Enugu Ezike, Igbo-Eze North Local Government Area of Enugu State. From an early age, he demonstrated a strong commitment to education. In June 1987, he successfully obtained the West African School Certificate, distinguishing himself as the \’Best Boy\’ in Sciences while attending Nigerian Military School (NMS) Zaria.
Career
Rear Admiral Ogalla\’s illustrious career in the Nigerian Navy has been marked by exceptional achievements and notable positions. As a member of the 39 RC NDA, he graduated with a BSc in Mathematics and was recognized for his exceptional performance, receiving the Sword of Honour as the best naval cadet in his course.
His journey in the Navy began when he was commissioned as a Sub-Lieutenant on September 16, 1992. Through his dedication and commitment, he steadily rose through the ranks, eventually reaching the esteemed position of Rear Admiral on September 16, 2021. Throughout his career, he served on board several ships, including NNS AMBE, ARADU, LANA, EKUN, AGU, QUORRA, BEECROFT, DELTA, and PATHFINDER.
