Born on the 4th of September, 1964, Kayode Egbetokun is a serving Deputy Commissioner of Police in Nigeria.
He is the current acting Commissioner of Police in charge of the Lagos State Command.
Kayode Egbetokun was born in Erinja, Yewa South Local Government Area of Ogun State and he enlisted into the Nigeria Police Force on the 3rd of March, 1990, as a Cadet Assistant Superintendent of Police.
He had his initial training at the Nigeria Police Academy and has served for more than 26 years in the Police Force.
The Deputy Commissioner of Police has a Bachelor of Science degree (BSC) in Mathematics from the University of Lagos. Prior to joining the Police Force, he had also lectured Mathematics briefly at Yaba College of Technology, Lagos.
Egbetokun is married with children. He believes in a strong Police institution, as an indispensable tool for safety and sustainable economic growth in the country.
