Made Kuti was born to Femi and Funke Kuti on September 26th, 1995 in Lagos State, Nigeria. He was raised in the New Afrika Shrine where he learned to play different musical instruments including drums, piano, saxophone, alto, and trumpet.
He attended CTC Primary School for his elementary education before proceeding to Beehive School for his secondary school education. He later graduated from Trinity Laban Conservatoire in London which was Fela Kuti’s alma mater.
