Erhiatake Ibori is a 42-year -old Nigerian politician from Urhobo, Delta State.
She is the daughter of Chief James Ibori, the former Governor of Delta State. Currently, she\’s married to Abioye Suenu.
She studied Business Studies and Information Systems in the United Kingdom. Erhiatake is praised for walking in the remarkable footsteps of her Father, James Ibori.
Bolatito Adebola, a correspondent with the independent Newspaper, while making a comment about Erhiatake that, \”The daughter of a titan will always be superwoman on the battlefield, simply because she is coming from a big antecedent and cannot be equated with others in her ilk.\”
He further said, \”Hon. Erhiatake Ibori-Suenu marches on in her father’s footsteps and there are indications that she is going to do more than what her father had planted in her stead.\”
Political Life
Erhiatake is a member of the People\’s Democratic Party (PDP). And also a member of the Ethiope Delta State House of Assembly.
In 2022, she defeated Ben Igbakpa, the current lawmaker of the Ethiope Delta State House of Assembly, at the rerun primary elections.
According to TheCable, \”Ibori-Suenu polled 46 votes to defeat Igbakpa, who scored 22 votes at the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) rerun primary for Ethiope federal constituency\”.
After the victory, Erhiatake appreciated the people of the Delta Ethiope Federal constituency via her Facebook page for their support.
Achievement
Erhiatake established the S.H.I Mobile free clinics at the Ethiope West Local Government area to train doctors on primary health care. The program has helped hundreds of people living in the Ethiope West Local Government area.
In addition, an acquisition center was set up to educate and deliver health care services and relief items to the victims of the flood disaster in Ethiope.
She doesn\’t seem to be a social media freak, which has made her to hide some personal information about herself and her family from the public. However, she has been doing very well in her father\’s shoe. Many people believes she has a lot to do in the political sphere, and with the right support from a lovers, it would be a better game.
