Early Life
Folake Odediran was born in Nigeria to a family of professionals. Her father was a lawyer and her mother was a nurse. She grew up with a strong sense of curiosity and ambition, inspired by her parents’ achievements and values. She attended the prestigious Queen’s College in Lagos, where she excelled academically and socially. She developed an interest in science and medicine, and decided to pursue a career in pharmacy.
She obtained her Bachelor of Pharmacy degree (B.Pharm) from Ahmadu Bello University in Zaria, one of the oldest and largest universities in Nigeria. She started singing at a young age, joining the choir at her church and school. She also learned how to play the piano and guitar, and composed her own songs. They met during their internship at the University College Hospital, where they worked together on some cases. They fell in love and got married after completing their service year. They have three children: two sons and a daughter.
Folake Odediran is a devout Christian who believes in God and his purpose for her life. She attends the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), where she serves as a choir leader and a Sunday school teacher.
