Buta Biberaj Biography and early life

Buta Biberaj was born on June 25, 1964, in Montenegro, a former Yugoslav republic in Southeast Europe. She is of Albanian ethnicity and has two siblings. Her parents, Hisen and Ajshe Biberaj, were both teachers who fled the communist regime in Albania in the 1950s and settled in Montenegro. They later immigrated to the United States in 1970 and became naturalized citizens.
