- She has four degrees in different fields of economics, finance, and business administration. She obtained her first degree in Economics from the University of Nigeria Nsukka in 1980, followed by a Masters in Business Administration and Finance from the University of Port Harcourt in 1989. She then pursued another Masters in Economics from the same university in 1996, before earning her PhD in Banking and Finance from the Rivers State University of Science and Technology in 2007.
- She was a lecturer at the Rivers State University of Science and Technology for 18 years, from 1981 to 1999. She taught courses such as Monetary Economics, International Finance, Financial Management and Banking Theory and Practice. She also supervised several undergraduate and postgraduate research projects and dissertations.
- She is the current Head of Department of Banking and Finance at the Nasarawa State University. She joined the faculty in 2010 and has been leading the department with excellence and dedication. - She is the founder and chairman of the Heartland Childcare Foundation, a non-governmental organization that was established in 2000 to empower less privileged children and women in the society.
