Film Meets Tech! 3rd Edition Of Coal City Film Festival Set To Hold In Enugu

Coal City Film Festival an International film festival resident in Enugu State Nigeria will once again hold from 23rd to 25th March 2023 for its 3rd Edition.

The theme for this year\’s festival is FILM MEETS TECH.

The African tech industry is fast evolving into a multi-billion dollars business, with many native founders and developers building an interesting ecosystem with lots of potentials. It\’s therefore an opportunity to explore the impact of Technology on Film and vice versa.

More so, it\’s no secret that some International streaming platforms, chiefly, Netflix and Amazon Prime with more on the way, are becoming very interested in African contents and this is impacting on the Cinema culture in Africa. It\’s imperative therefore to anticipate strong technological impact in the dynamics of Filmmaking and position actors and filmmakers to take full advantage.

Above and many more, like access to funding, preparing pitch decks, film business proposals, available film markets, and what to expect in most acquisition companies\’ quality control are all part of the discussions that will take place in Coal City Film Festival 2023.

We therefore encourage filmmakers and actors from across the world to make plans to attend the most exciting film festival in South Eastern Nigeria.

Our line up of programs include Master Classes, Panel Discussions, Movie Screenings, Parties, City Tour, Palm Wine and Bush Meat Roundtable, Award and Fun Night, and introducing Fashion Show, South East Entertainment and Media Night will make your three (3) days visit to Enugu a worthy experience.

We look forward to welcoming you when the portal for registration opens.
