Nigeria Police Recruitment 2023 – Applications are invited from suitable qualified candidates to fill the following positions all over the country. The Nigerian Police Force (NPF) in conjunction with the The Police Service Commission (PSC) is currently accepting applications from interested and qualified Nigerians for enlistment into the Nigeria Police Force as Specialist (Artisan) & General Duty Police Constable (Recruits).

Application Guidelines For Recruitment Into Nigeria Police Force For General Duty Constables & Specialist (Artisan)

The online application is available from October 15 to November 26, 2023, for six weeks. If you’re interested, fill out the forms online and submit them through the portal during this time. Both men and women with good character from Nigeria are welcome to apply.

If you’re selected, you’ll go through a training program that includes academic and physical training. Successful candidates will be employed as Specialist (artisan) Police Constables in the Nigeria Police Force.
Also take note that the recruitment exercise is free of charge.

Method Of Application and General Requirements

To apply to the Nigerian Police, please take note that;

  1. Before starting the application, make sure you have your National Identification Number (NIN), a working email, and a valid phone number.
  2. Upload scanned copies of your SSCE, Birth, and Certificates of Origin during the application.
  3. Fill out the online form carefully, and review the information before submitting it.
  4. After submitting the online form, print out the completed form and guarantor forms, then submit them.
  5. Have a genuine interest in pursuing a career in the Nigeria Police Force.
  6. Be a Nigerian by birth and possess a National Identification Number (NIN).
  7. Ensure you are medically, physically, and psychologically fit, and meet the height requirement (1.67mtrs for male, 1.64mtrs for female).
  8. For male applicants, have a chest measurement of not less than 86cm (34 inches).
  9. Female applicants should not be pregnant during the admission process.
  10. Be free from any financial or monetary issues that could cause embarrassment.

General Duty Constable Requirement

Candidates must be;

  1. Have at least 5 credits in WASSCE/GCE/NECO, obtained in a maximum of 2 sittings, with credit passes in English and Mathematics. These credits should not be older than 2014.
  2. Be between 18 and 25 years old.

Specialist (Artisan) Constable Requirement

To be eligible, candidates should;

  1. Have at least 4 credits in WASSCE/GCE/NECO or equivalent, obtained in a maximum of 2 sittings. Make sure you get credit passes in English and Mathematics, and these credits shouldn’t be older than 2015.
  2. Be between 18 and 28 years old.
  3. If you’re applying as a Medical/Veterinary Assistant, you should have at least 5 credits in WASSCE/SSCE or equivalent in a maximum of 2 sittings. This includes credit passes in English and Mathematics. Additional certificates in relevant fields would be a plus.
